I put a 500 dollar good faith deposit to hold a car. I was told the car was in
inventory at the time of the deposit and it had been sold. I was holding the car
for 3 days. It was a bate and switch.

Did they give your money back?
If you were refunded your money there may not be any fraud. I would let it go and move on if you got your money back.

Getting your money back isn't good enough if you just paid for a plane ticket to go get the car. I've been looking at all manner of these complaints, and I think if cargurus is going to be hands off the listings, then they need to give each seller comments and ratings like all the other peer to peer sites.
