2007 Chevy Trailblazer not driving

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently (the other day) got a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT where the
previous owner said that he swapped the motor, and put everything back
together only to put it in drive to find out it doesn’t go anywhere. He said that
it needs the fluid lines for the torque converter lined up to solve the problem,
but I have no clue where those are or what they look like. I checked the tranny
fluid and it’s good, so I don’t think that’s the problem. I’ve read on some of
the other posts that it could be the shift bushing. If anyone knows something
that could help that would be great!

First thing I'd check IS that bushing on the linkeage. With the truck started, try moving the gear shifter. Do you see the lights on the dash move to the different gears, or stay put? If it doesn't move, it's your linkage bushing. Runs about $6.
