Those are two completely different engines. The Tahoe Long block bolt up to the transmission with modifications. Best bet if you have the Vortec 5.7 is to stick with that year which is 96-99 and they ran them in Tahoes, Suburbans, Vans, and Trucks. If you would have a complete engine and drivetrain from the 07 tahoe you could swap it in. But that much modification would be pointless unless your building a custom truck and want to spend a decent amount of money.
