Engine buying

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I am looking to buy a 2007 F-150 Harley Davidson edition but it is missing the
engine. I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to buy a replacement
engine for it.

I would go with a factory crate engine --- http://www.fordparts.com/Products/PowertrainProducts- RemanufacturedGasEngineAssemblies.aspx

I thought about a used or rebuilt engine because it is usually cheeper. For some reason though I am more drawn to the thought of a factory crate engine.
I am not sure if you can buy a factory engine fully dressed with everything you need or not but that would be my choice. The factory crate engines have a good warranty which a used engine won't have.
With a long block engine you will have to buy a lot of parts to make it work - intake, exhaust, injection etc.

So where is a place I can buy and engine that runs that I can just drop right in without any problems or have to buy any extras to get it to work?
I would check out the Ford factory engines. The link is in the first post.
