Transmission

Asked by Guru5LN6V Jan 14, 2018 at 01:20 PM about the 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Ford sports Trac 4.0 5R55 Trans. I
found that the transmission oil and coolant was
mixing. I fixed the problem by replacing my raditor.
I also had the transmission flush. The truck worked
for about two weeks and then will not move
forward in drive but takes reverse very good. I put a
scan tester on it and it read Pressure Control
Soleniid B (P0775) do you think its the Solenoid
pack or do i need  to have the transmission rebuilt?

If the coolant was in the transmission fluid for very long it will likely require a complete rebuild. I would ask you transmission shop for some guidance here if you can trust them to be honest.
