Service engine soon light is on my 2002 SL Series Saturn?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have taken it to the shop and got it scanned and replaced both O2 sensors on the car because that was what appeared to have been the problem to begin with. The service engine light is still on and I need to get an emissions test done. Does anyone else know what it could be? The shop said that they next wanted to try and tear apart the exhaust to clean it out. Do you think that could be the answer?

Thanks for that. I was leery on having them do that myself and was already predetermining that would not solve the problem. I am not sure what the codes are myself yet. I would have to get it scanned again and have them read off the codes to me.

Did they reset the codes clear them after the repair?
