How to replace the transmission temperature sensor?

My mos 07 pt cruiser was starting to have heating problems never to the point
of actually over heating but getting hot so we did the bascis: replaced the
thermastate, checked the fan sensor, replaced the fans, draining the air from
the radiator,replacec thr radiator cap. And nkw we scanned kt at home and
three codes were read the 1603, 887 and the tcm701 i think anyways so we
took it to a shop whefe they they charged us 212.00 and the check engine light
is still on its still having problem shifting gears so they said we need to replace
the transmission temperature sensor nut there not not sure if theres any other
problems with the transmission because it hasnt been serviced in awhile wnd
has 103310 miles on the car i found the part now were waiting for kt to be
shopped cuz we dont want to drive it anywhere can u plz help us

None of the codes have anything to do with a transmission temp sensor... its saying the pcm is detecting high voltage on the power relay circuit for the transmission solenoids.. basically the cars is gonna be in limp mode.. you could be looking at a wiring problem or computer/tipm module problem... highly doubt the tranny needs rebuilt
