I did that years ago. Found positive side of fan attached to pos on battery. Neg to negative. Put a switch on hot side and put it under dash. Of course this was before computers etc so b aware it MAY throw up a code?

The high, or a/c side of the fan is inop. I am going to wire the high speed and low speed inputs together. The computer should never ask for them both at the same time. Ill come back and let you know how it goes.
