Air manifold problems

Asked by Jacob Dec 18, 2014 at 12:40 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Lumina LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Lumina randomly stopped working, it turns over and the engine shakes violently and
there's white smoke coming from somewhere in the engine, I replaced the water pump so
that's ruled out I also took off the intake manifold and the filter smelled heavily of gas and
the water trap had gas inside of it. I thought it was a blown head gasket but I'm trying to
do everything I can before I break the seal. Please help.
