My 4 wheel drive stopped working in my kia serento. What Might Be the problem

First problem- it's a Korean car- there will be more problems- having said that, hope that the 4WD problem has something to do with the electronic selector and not the transmission

the above quip not helpful - more helpful: the most common fault is the vacuum lines to the front wheels - many links to this online.
