Gas Leak In 01 GMC Sonoma Crew Cab

My 01 gmc sonoma is leaking gas. i
think its either the gas tank or fuel
lines, but im not sure. My question is
how do i replace both on a budget?

That's true, just fix it. Any fuel leak is dangerous, I don't care where it is but there is a risk of fire. The dang truck can be replaced. You can not be

Is there a puddle of gas on the ground? See what is above the puddle for the leak location.

My 2002 model (same exact truck but a year newer) was setting a P0440-large leak code. A common problem with these trucks, as was with mine, is a rust through around the filler neck (fuel tank portion). I had 2 spots each about pea sized. I made the repair with JB weld 2 part epoxy stick. Steelstik is what they call it. Problem solved. Been driving for several months now. Good luck with it brother. Vick
