2007 Cadillac CTS lose control

Asked by Tonya Nov 25, 2016 at 06:45 AM about the 2007 Cadillac CTS 3.6L RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will a 2007 Cadillac CTS cause to lose control like
you are hydroplaning? It happened to me twice. I
replaced the front tires so I could prevent such an
accident. The first time it happened, I was able to
gain control. The second time it happened, I was
involved in an accident that resulted a total loss in
the car but hit another car.

The only thing that comes to mind would be bad suspension or defective steering which could make the car feel its hydroplaning....

Tonya, the same thing happened to me. I was in my 06 CTS and it did that. That's when they had a recall bout the ignition. It said if you had more than one key on your key chain at a time . It could make you loose control of your car. Mine did it too. I was lucky noone was around me when it happened. It actually happened twice. But after I had the ignition fixed, it never happened again. It may not been your fault.
