2007 Cadillac CTS lose control
Will a 2007 Cadillac CTS cause to lose control like
you are hydroplaning? It happened to me twice. I
replaced the front tires so I could prevent such an
accident. The first time it happened, I was able to
gain control. The second time it happened, I was
involved in an accident that resulted a total loss in
the car but hit another car.
The only thing that comes to mind would be bad suspension or defective steering which could make the car feel its hydroplaning....
The new tires should always go on the rear of the vehicle. Rear tires must displace the water already on the road plus the water that's displaced from the front tires. If you have bad or not as good tires on the rear but new tires on the front, you have a much greater chance of hydroplaning into a skid. HTH. -Jim
Tonya, the same thing happened to me. I was in my 06 CTS and it did that. That's when they had a recall bout the ignition. It said if you had more than one key on your key chain at a time . It could make you loose control of your car. Mine did it too. I was lucky noone was around me when it happened. It actually happened twice. But after I had the ignition fixed, it never happened again. It may not been your fault.
