Bogging down on hills

Recently bought a 96 Corsica for $350 the original
exhaust was removed and replaced with a glass
pack. There is a minor exhaust leak but the car is
overall mechanically sound, drives great and the
transmission is so smooth we don't even notice it
shift. Brining the car home we noticed it lost all
power on hills and them only being minor hills on
rural highways what would be causing this?

If you are lucky, it could be the Cat- something simple- but I'm afraid you are getting the performance one might expect from a $350 car-
