2002 JAGUAR S TYPE TRANSMISSION

Just bought the car. I put the car in drive it will not
move.I PUT IT IN SECOND GEAR AND HAVE TO
SHIFT MANUELY. DOES IT NEED FLUID.

Fluid is definitely a possibility but it could also be shifting linkage needs adjusting or transmission overhaul.
