Can I use reg. gas in my 2004 Jaguar?

Just wondering will it be ok to use reg. gas 87 octane?

Try it and see how it runs. If it pings go back to premium.

Actually, in 2004, Ethonol was not out much. The engine was not designed to use anything but leaded gas. I have used 87 octane in several pre 04 cars with no aparant problem BUT I have had some fuel system problems because of it.
