Hello....I have a 95 roadmaster....throws check
engine light on then goes off.....the car sometimes
run like it have bad gas in it....then just smooths on
out....then it might not do it for a few days....it still
responds to the throttle great....just sometimes it
will miss

Here are some suggestions of things you should check. 1) plug wires if your wires are old or cheap this will do what you describe (especially in the rain or wet weather) 2) distributor (opti sparks are known for this kind of thing) If you don't have a scan tool most local auto parts stores will check for codes for free. The one I would think will come up is "multiple spark misfire" Hope this will help good luck with your car.
