My car won't start

I have a 2002 Buick randavous cx and the
breaks went out it sat for a week got towed
sat for another 2 weeks then I got it got the
breaks fixed and when I got home the very
next day it wouldn't start a mechanic came
looked at it and said it was my fuel pump. It
cranks but won't start could the be the fuse
as well .....

you should hear the pump prime the system when you hit the key , test pressure at the shrader valve , check for power and good ground at the tank , ; no ; no ;yes; then it's probably the fuel pump once those are eliminated
