2003 buick rendezvous no start

I bought a 2003 buick rendezvous from my
grandmother over a year ago. Loved it and drove it
until i bought a mustang this tax return. About a
month and a half ago, I drove the rendezvous to
work. When i wanted to go to tacobell for lunch, I
got out to the rendezvous and tried starting it so I
could drive there. Well thats when it went bad. The
vehicle wouldn't start. While in the on position, if
you wait approximately 5 to 10 seconds, the
vehicle starts to repeatedly ding and instead of the
mileage being displayed, it shows the word error.
Up on the gage cluster where it shows all of the
warnings like low fuel, change oil, low washer fluid,
etc, it displays the word security. I have tried doing
the 30 minute key relearn procedure atleast 6
times since then with no luck. This is a pk3
security system. I have no clue what the problem
could be. Is there any hope without towing it to the
dealer?

Jim, I have fully charged the battery twice before trying the relearn procedure and this is still not working. Could this possibly be the cars computer?
I had the same problem. I charged the battery. I pulled the starter and everything else because the battery was only 2 years old so it couldn't be that. Ended up being a bad cell in the battery. AAA came out and wouldn't take my word for it, the tech decided to throw a new one in against his supervisors advice and varroom it started. Lucky it was under warranty. If you have AAA, $100.00 new battery, warrantied for 3 years.

As i said before. I have fully charged the battery twice now and still a nogo. I plan to have the battery tested today.
Same comment as before. THIS SOLVED MY PROBLEM "I had the same problem. I charged the battery. My 04 Buick rendezvous is doing the same thing it's been parked for over six weeks because of this , I installed a new battery and no power to fuses 30 or 31 , I run a jumper to the fuses and the car starts , when I disconnect the jumper wire it dies what could it be
Anybody know anything about cars tell me what's the problem here. I locked the truck and didn't reset the keyless remote and had to get the lock smith people to unlock it but then after the alarm went off it wouldn't start back up. Engine won't even try to turn over but the lights, ac and stuff still come on.
looking to buy. the dealer said the same issues is happening. the key will turn all lights and everything comes on. when jumped it will start and run. what is the best possible solution is it worth the buy?
My 2004 Buick rendezvous cxl want start it's turning over but want start....changed the camshaft position sensor and fuel filter check the line to make sure pump is pumping gas out to to filter which it is what else could it possibly be

I have a 2003 buick rendevous. I an out of gas one day an when my husband put gas in it it never stated again. So far I have changed the fuel pump the battery and put a entire new engine in it. Turns over but doesn't stay started. I am going to order the part from up above and see what happens. The dealer is gonna charge a arm and a leg.
Having the same problem no spark coming out of the coilsvolume figure it out I'll put it back on here what I figured out what's wrong with cuz I will find the problem sooner or later me
So my wife grandmother has a 2004 buick rendezvous and has the same issue I have recharged the old battery a few times no dice I put a new one in ran good for a few days now same issue. I am not sure if maybe its a security system thing or perhaps the alternator. I am fairly certain its not the starter I have checked that and the connections going into the power box tried the key twice nothing im not sure why.
