2001 Jimmy wont stay running

my 2001 Jimmy has been running fine I went to the
store last night it's fine I came out and started it
and it didn't want to stay running and just kept
sputtering and then when I put it in reverse it would
die

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? The first thing I wonder about is your fuel system, that spider fuel system is noted for problems. Key on engine off, 60--66 psi, fuel pressure. You might check and clean anything to do with idle air system, see if it helps?
