Will installing a short ram intake hurt my car later on? i was told its not a good idea.

i have an 07 accent and i want a short ram intake but i was advised it wasn't a good idea and was never given reasoning on it. will it hurt me sooner or later, timeframe?

the height of the intake ram is of NO consequence to the lifespan of the motor...okay....good luck with this car~

Which is hilarious because I have only 1,000 to go. I can't get another car I just wanna know if it'll hurt my car.

No it won't hurt your car. Just put up with the increased noise and clean the filter every year or so. Also, check your timing belt.
