I have a 2007 sl550 the soft close on the trunk will not work

I have a 2007 sl550 if I lock the doors with the fob the soft close on the trunk
will not work, then I have to pull fuse 71 to get the soft close work again. How
do I fix this for good?

Gene answered about a year ago

Sounds like a programming glitch especially when you pull the fuse and it resets. The dealer may have to reflash the computer systems.
