2007 Mercedes won't turn on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Purchased a new battery, lights dash work. Nothing
happens when I turn the key. Doesn't try to turn
over.

The center dash is black and only able to control the Ac, the clock adjusted itself and everything else seems to work but won't turn over. Before I replaced the battery I charged the old one and was able to turn the car on but never again so I figured it was the battery but still having the same issue won't turn over
