07 Audi Q7 Gasoline

Asked by jimmytm Dec 17, 2016 at 10:52 AM about the 2007 Audi Q7 3.6 quattro Premium AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an Audi Q7 that every time it gets below 32 degrees F it would not start.
At the beginning it will make a noise by the hood like if some ice is breaking
and then it will only make the sound like it wants to start but nothing happens.
The battery is less than a year old, as well as the spark plugs.  I just change
the fuel filter and air filter like a month ago.  But as soon as the weather warms
up the vehicle starts.  Any suggestions on what may it be?

check for signs of water build up. you might have water running into some parts and freezeing. either that or the starter can't take the cold tempatures.
