Question type: Car Customization

Im working on making my car an epic James Bond machine. I am wanting to put a hole in that console area and slip
an iPad in there. I know how to wire it to where when i press a button a little arm pulls the iPad out of the area. But i
don't want to drill a hole only to find that i completely screwed up the car. Thanks.

what do you plan to use for the job? a dremel? a sawzall? the bracketry for supporting the thing is most important. You make the hole, and unit just falls in and disappears. Kind need to think this through thickness, access to the unit? and electrical runs- PITA!

think about it? what do we got? the safety belt interlocks? perhaps a cigarette lighter? Am unfamiliar with your center console. perhaps you can tap into the thing that you are about to destroy? shit dude, show some courage!

Remove the console and see what is inside before you make blind cuts.
