will a 97 Z24 engine & transmission fit in 97 LS cavalier

The two engines are remarkably similar. The LS is a 2.2-liter I4, and the Z24 is a 2.4-liter I4. This should not be a problem. As for the transmissions, which are you switching in or out? Manual/Automatic? CarGrrl
