flashing light in D5

I noticed today while driving in D5 that the shift indicator light started flashing. Does
anyone know what that means?  I drive a 2006 MDX

If the vehicle was tested properly with the stand alone tests before the rebuild then the real problem should have been caught then and not after.

could it be a faulty indicator light and not a tranny problem ?
