3.55 Slip Differential

Asked by GTEUP07 Aug 06, 2016 at 02:21 AM about the 2007 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe Coupe RWD

Question type: General

My 2007 Mustang GT came with 3.55
gears which is a LSD. So my question is if I
start from a stop and jump on it will I leave
rubber on the road from both tires?  Is
there a switch I need to turn on or off to do
so. Please advise.

Wow. I thought LSD was just another word for Posi-traction that GM used. So do you have any suggestions for me. Yukon or Ford Racing. Is mine an 8 spline? Thanks
