Buick Park avenue manual says trunk release and lockout button?

Question type: General

Does this mean I can like hold the button down for certain
number of seconds or something like that to cause my trunk to
not be able to open? And if so how would I enable it to open
once again? I can see how this would be useful if you're being
pulled over or if you're just paranoid and insane like myself. I
like to know how she works and what I can do with it.

my lesabre had the button with a key. you insert the key in to lock the button from pressing.
