Is that installed? What kind of guarantee do you have? Is the engine AND labor guaranteed? Will they give you the guarantee in writing? Check their reputation out online or by talking to people that have had work done there.

Is 10995 a lot to pay for a Mitsubishi Outlander with 88k miles on it and how much mileage can I get out if it with such high mileage?

Najah...I own a 2010 Mitsu Outlander that I bought for $17k and with 30k miles on it. You didn't say what YEAR Outlander, but I think you can do better with $11,000 ($10,995 = $11k...lol). I would say look at the smaller Outlander Sport, but it doesn't handle as well, has 20 less HP, and much less cargo and seating space than the regular Outlander. The 2.4 L MIVEC engine used is a good one and should last :) Go for one with less miles would be my advice as well.

Najah check Kelly blue book , also you should of started your own thread instead hijacking this one,,, (just saying)

I paid over $5k for a rebuild, and they sucked. your price is ok, but good advice - check the shop out thoroughly, or you''ll end up paying more in the long run.
