2006 mitisubishi doesn’t start very good

Asked by GuruYSGVP Mar 11, 2018 at 10:04 PM about the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought an 06 Mitsubishi Lancer ralliart
with a 2.4 4cyl and a 5 speed manual and
only when I cold start it it takes two or
three tries. It cranks over but it just doesn’t
want to start. As soon as I get it running
and it warms up it’ll start up just fine.
Wondering what to look at first?

i would say battery but your saying it does start after a few tries. If it was the alternator i don’t think it would even bother starting so could just be the battery. If it ain’t that i would suggest going to an autozone they can check your alternator and battery for free.
