Overfilled the oil in my 2001 Volvo v40

I overfilled the engine oil in my 2001 Volvo v40 and
now it's shooting smoke out of the exhaust pipe
and will only go 5 miles per hour we drain the oil
and put new filters and gaskets and oil in

Perhaps the spark plugs are oil fouled. I would also make sure the PCV is clean and working properly.

The PCV is a vent valve that is in the valve cover. Make sure it rattles freely. You can clean it or replace it.
