Need to know what type of gas does it use, prem or reg

Question type: General

Want to know what type of gas is use for this car.  There is no owners manual and I bought it use.  Have not drove it yet.

regular will work, but since its a turbo, i'd say premium

The 1998 Volvo S70 T5 Requires 91 Octane. If 91 Is not available use 93. 89 Will work, but you will get poor mileage and have a lack of power. DO NOT run anything lower than 89.

No, regular is not advised for the T5. The T5 has a high compression engine with a high compression turbocharger.
