I replaced the engine in my 2006 Volvo S40. it runs, but says "reduced engine capacity" and will only accelerate to 20 mph. Is this a computer issue?

Volvo engine question. I have a 2006 volvo s40 with a 2.4i motor. Would this motor and transmission fit a volvo c70 2006 through 2010?
