Anyone have had a problem with their S40 check engine light coming on/orr intermintely, and what corrections were taken?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check Engine Light comes/on/off intermittently for over several months.  Codes pointed
to oxygen sensor, and was replaced twice.  Dealers believe it is coming from the
electrical harness.  Has anyone encounter a similar problem and what was done to fix the
Check Engine Light.

oil changes, camshaft valve replacement, spark plugs, wires, wire harness....still comes back oh forgot oxygen sensor too!, Nada...

Check engine light came on. Code diagnosis was cooling sensor, replaced it and light came on a week later so they replaced the coolant gauge. Light came back on 2 weeks later came back as intermittent misfire. They turned light off and came back on and the code now is something to do with the camshaft I think. It's a 2004 S40 with 89,000 miles
