98 Tahoe oil pressure loss

I have a 98 Tahoe with 173000 miles. Just recently
had the oil changed and noticed that when at idle it
was losing oil pressure. It had never done that
before. I took it back to the mechanic who
changed the oil, he took me the gages were hoping
bad. After some research, I had the sending unit
replaced. That didn't fix the problem. Next I took
his advice and replaced the gages with a reman
cluster. That didn't fix the problem. Next I replaced
the oil filter, and of course, that didn't fix the
problem either. At this point, I'm almost hoping it's
the oil pump. Is there anything else to check before
I go through the hassle of pulling and relaxing the
oil pump. Oh yeah, there's no engine noise either.

O-ring on oil pickup tube. They go bad. Then tube is not sealed and cant suck oil.
