I want to change the starter on my 1993 850 GLT 4 door sedan.  Where is the starter located under the hood?

Dear z- Sal Amico has been servicing Volvos and managing the service department at Boston Volvo since before Bill Clinton was even a governor. "Pop the hood, look straight down at the front of the motor and there it is just a little right of center near the bottom of the engine," he explained. Enjoy your 1993 Volvo 850.
