I recently replaced the entire clutch in my 06 nissan 350z and the engine feels like it skips and shutters for a second or two. I believe this is happening because the new clutch kit and flywheel are half the weight of the old one and the computer isn't reading it correctly, but it's only a guess. Any ideas? Anything helps, thanks!

And when does that happen the shutter, when you changing gears? It should not be a problem with the ecu, caused by the new clutch,as long the car goes when you release the clutch,if hes acting up like slipping then you might have a probkem with the new clutch kit. Another thing allot times putting all that stuff back something might get damaged,a vacuum hose some sensor wire might get damaged... Or maybe your car its due for a service or a check up.
