Question type: Maintenance & Repair

lately the car had been cutting off randomly.
this is happening more frequently. at a red
light it idled fine  but when i pressed the gas
to go out sounded like iut was going too cut
off but didn't. very next red light i pressed
the gas to go and this time it cut off. put the
car in park pressed the start button and it
worked fine. 4 days later car started fine got
to my destination less than 20 miles away
parked but left car on for another 5 minutes
or so & then pressed the engine stop button.
3 minutes got back inside pressed the
engine start button and it wouldn't start.
noticed the battery level was decreasing
fairly quickly with each attempt to start.
pressing the gas dis nothing. got a jump and
it start just fine. just now i started the car
drove astound the block once and parked.
car still running but then suddenly cut off.
