Limp mode

My car will run fine then out of the blue it will
not let rpms go above 3000 .so I pull over
and restart and sometimes it's better and
sometimes it won't start at all, need help
please

sounds like an omp issue, do you have the splash guard on your car? if it got wet the omp could very much be the issue.
