car battery

Went to start it yesterday morning, and completely dead. Tried to jump start and nothing.  Charged it all day and finally got fully charged.  Headlights came on, nothing else, no dash lights, wouldn't turn over.

How old is the battery? Could be a bad battery or just dirty battery terminal connections. Try removing both battery terminal ends, cleaning the connections and re-connect. Alternatively, you could take the battery to an auto parts store for a charge and load test.
