2006 Mazda 3 2.0

I have a 2006 Mazda 3 2.0 that has 152k miles on it. It cranks in park just fine
but when I shift gears into reverse or drive, push the gas, the car does not
move. The AT light is on, no CEL. Any clues as to what this can mean? There
are no transmission fluid leaks and the transmission fluid itself is normal. Also,
when shifting there are no grinding noises or noises at all.
