bought headlights for my 2004 suv got wrong ones they fit but plug do not match

headlights went out on my voltswagon tourag suv bought more but plugins are not the same the ones on my suv on my plug prongs are allway across on the ones I purched they only have no more than seven prongs they do not match and my lights will not come on
