where is the sensor or the fuse that controls the temperature of the car? The dash light that tells me if the car is running hot comes on as soon as I start the car cold. Can you please tell me why this is happening??

I do belive the temp sensor is in the head, if you get a manual (haynes), it will tell you where it is

Right, it is in the head very close to where the upper radiator hose enters the block. That sensor is your problem. When they crap out they do funny things.
