I change spark plugs, wires, timing belts fine, fuel pump, 2 camshaft position sensors. It is getting fuel and spark but it will not start it just cranks

I have a 2006 VW Passat. During the summer my car will start up and drive fine like nothing is wrong with it. Then maybe an hr or two later it will just stall on me. I sit for about 30 to 45 minutes and it starts back up no problem.
