2005 VW beetle, new rag top installed.

Asked by GuruLWPJD Mar 28, 2019 at 04:41 PM about the 2005 Volkswagen Beetle GLS 1.8T

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have not yet used the new convertible, however it seems that their is so much noise, squeaking coming from the top, especially when I hit bumps or uneven parts in the road. I just had a lot of suspension work done in this car so I am sure the car is tight in this area. Could the roof need adjustments ?

Yes I would definitely get that checked out. Convertible roofs are supposed to be very snug and shouldn’t rattle or make much noise. I’d say something came unfastened
