i have a 1999 jetta power windows inop trunk light on in dash and now engine wont crank battery and starter good

First off did you check all the wires/connections to make sure they are on tight and the fuses to see if something is blown? Have you recently installed anything that would tax the system?

well to check if its your starter it happened to me so what i did is i pushed the car into a clear road and i kept pushing it till i hard the car rolling about 10-15mph then i hopped in nd press the clutch nd released nd my car started. It was my starter. everything turned on but the car.i replaced it and it works fine now.

yes all grounds are good all factory systems no adons owner is my 70yr old friend all fuses good
