GTI won't start

Hello,
I took the GTI into a dealership to get an oil change and since then...
The car had been very inconsistent when starting.  Now it won't start at all.  When you put
the key in the ignition and turn it, There is no noise at all.  Like the ignition is not
connected to the car.  CRAZY!  Any help with this is help in the right direction.

could be battery,starter,alternator...hope that helps

Do any lights come on? If nothing happens look at your ignition switch or ignition/starter relay. I've learned being tight on money at times that you always start with the easiest cheapest first and work from there most of the time it's something stupid
