97 VW golf 2.0 I was driving down narrow Mountain Road hit ice and slid into a cliff I hit the front right wheel blew the tire Am told bent the wheel back

I had it towed and tire put on and
drove it home and still drives
problems include when I slow down
makes a knocking noise and when I
hit my brakes it sounds like scraping
noise is there any hope???????

you probly bulloxed the brakes and rotors and if your lucky you did not ruin a transmission bearing. your going to have to take the wheel off and check the brakes. for brakes or bends
