BMW X5 2006 with 190k miles, is it worth it?

I am trying to buy this beauty for 5000$, looks and drive
good. No leaks or tranny skips, but curious what’s my
next expenses would be price wise on future maintenance
expenses. Am I gonna end up spending another 5000$

Your car could go for a couple of years or a couple of days. Ask yourself if you can afford to lose the 5 grand next week.

BTW - $5,000 probably will not even cover a replacement engine or transmission.
