No sound or power on radio

Please help, my BMW x5 3.0i 2005 radio  is not
coming on. The numbers for channels went out 1st
and now only time shows . There is power going to
radio but won't power on. I even tried to change out
radio but new radio won't take power on either.
Tested wires and there is power so I have no idea
what's going on .

I had a problem with my Logic7 amp in my 2007 650i, it has gone out twice and is a huge PIA to replace and have programmed. I am not sure if the X5 has the same amp but I had the same issues, first the Satellite radio stopped, then FM then anything that made a noise. Do you still have a seat belt "ding" or door open "ding" I did not have any noise al all.
